RF ENGINEERS

GCorp has several openings for RF Engineers for RF Design, Optimization and Performance roles with our company. GCorp’s clients include T–Mobile USA, Nokia USA Inc., Verizon Wireless, and Crown Castle USA Inc.

JOB DUTIES OF RF ENGINEER

• Providing RF Engineering Consulting in Wireless Communication industry; • Performing RF Planning, Optimization and Performance Management; • Performing RF Database / Parameter Review and Audit, including optimization plans; • Conducting performance and tuning and optimization of LTE/UMTS/GSM overlay wireless networks to reduce interference, call drops and access/handoff failures; • Submitting SLA KPI’s to the customer and justify the performance of the network; • Performing RNC level statistical analysis and performance management; • Correlating alarms/outages with the KPI’s for the RNC and BSC; • Conducting initial tuning for LTE (4G), UMTS (3G) and GSM (2G) Networks; • Maintaining Networks KPI’s on targets Drop PS <2%, Drop Speech<1%, Accessibility PS >98%, accessibility Speech >98%. Initial Tuning of new sites/ NodeB’s; • Using ITK, Business Objects and other RF proprietary softwares for analysis and create customer reports; • Using Moshell for parameters change and configuration for RBS and RNC; • Changing, creating and deleting Utran Relation and external Utran Relation; • Optimization of parameters for feature HSDPA, EUL, Channel Switching, Handover, Capacity Management, Idle Mode and Common Channel Behavior; • Performing call drop analysis, SHO, HHO, IRAT, HO, RRC, RAB, SHO Factor Congestion KPI analysis and take appropriate actions; • Monitoring and benchmarking RNC/NodeB upgrade/patch implementation; • Tracing analysis using Trace Viewer and LMT; and • Being responsible for RRC, RAB, IRAT, HO failures, call drop, SHO failures analysis; • EME Studies and Regulatory Site Compliance as per FCC guidelines;

DESCRIPTION OF WORK AND EXPECTATIONS:

• Candidates must have atleast a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years of wireless experience in RF Design, Optimization and Performance. OEM experience with Nokia and/or Ericsson preferred. • After interviews and selections, you shall be working on multiple projects with different clients in wireless industry supporting different technologies – 5G/IoT, VoLTE/LTE, UMTS, GSM. • Hired candidates shall be working on different assignments and projects supporting but not limited to; RF Design (RFDS), RF Optimization and Performance, Small Cells, Project Management, Program Management, Project coordinators, Logistics coordinators, AAV and Microwave Backhaul, Construction project Management, FCC Compliance - EME Studies and Regulatory Site Complaince, E911 Test Compliance….etc. • GCorp is looking for candidates who have passion for wireless and are flexible. Business travel shall be required as and if needed (travelling expenses shall be covered by GCorp). • Compensation offered shall depend on experience.
